Corey Anderson, a former player for New Zealand in both the ODI World Cup and T20 World Cup, has been named in the USA squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup. Ali Khan, known for his T20 league experience around the world, has also been included in the squad. However, Gajanand Singh and Usman Rafiq have been left out.
Shayan Jahangir, who began his cricket career in Pakistan and has represented USA in ODIs before, is another member of the squad. Milind Kumar, a former Delhi batter and top run-scorer in India’s Ranji Trophy, is also part of the team.
Monank Patel and Aaron Jones will continue to lead the team as captain and vice-captain respectively after their successful series win against Canada. The squad will kick off the tournament with a match against Canada in Dallas on June 1st.
