The T20 World Cup will be held at a New York venue next month, and nine out of the 20 teams participating will be playing matches there. One of the most highly anticipated matches at the venue will take place on 9 June when arch-rivals India and Pakistan face off in their ongoing rivalry.
The New York venue will also host other teams, including host USA, neighbors Canada, Ireland, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Netherlands, and Bangladesh. The tournament director Hough is excited about the T20 pitch at the venue and hopes that it will have good pace, bounce, and offer value for shots to players. The goal is to create an exciting and competitive atmosphere for the matches by allowing batters to play shots all over the ground. From the start of the tournament’s planning, this was the ambition – to produce pitches that align with these objectives.
