Osceola County Selects Site and Initiates Search for Architect for Innovative $7.1 Million Technology Library

Osceola County has recently announced plans for a new technology library project, and has already secured a location for the $7.1 million building. The one-story, 8,000-square-foot facility will be located on 9.76 county-owned acres next to the Florida Department of Health at 1875 Fortune Road.

The conceptual floor plan for the technology library includes cutting-edge features such as a dedicated 3D printer room, an artificial intelligence learning and coding room, a space for virtual and augmented reality, and a laser engraver. Additionally, the building will have a room for e-sports and co-working space for businesses, as well as computers available for public use.

This project represents a significant investment in the community and will provide residents with access to state-of-the-art technology and resources. Those interested in learning more about the project can visit the Orlando Business Journal’s website or download free news, weather, and smart TV apps for updates on the project. Channel 9 Eyewitness News will also be live streaming updates on the project.
