Yasir Anwar has been named the new Chief Technology Officer of Inspire Brands, a restaurant holding company that includes popular brands such as Dunkin’, Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Baskin-Robbins. He brings over two decades of technology leadership experience to the company, which has generated over $30 billion in digital sales across its restaurant portfolio.
In his new role, Anwar will be responsible for overseeing product and data engineering, technology operations, architecture, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and infrastructure and development operations. He is eager to contribute to the organization and enhance the work of the technology teams to drive the technology strategy for the iconic brands under Inspire.
Anwar takes over the role from Raghu Sagi, who has recently joined Carter’s as Chief Information and Technology Officer. Inspire Brands is focused on building shared technology capabilities across its brand portfolio to provide more data-driven insights and enhance the digital experience for customers and franchisees. The company is owned by private equity firm Roark Capital Group.
