The new urgent care facility in west Jefferson City, set to open at the end of May, is expanding MU Health Care’s services and providing more space for patients. The facility, situated in the 3500 block of West Truman Boulevard, will feature on-site imaging and lab draw. MU Health Care has closed its Eastland drive location in preparation for the opening of the new urgent care facility. The Edgewood drive urgent care will remain open until May 29 to ensure continuity of services for patients in Jefferson City. Starting on May 30, the facility will be open seven days a week from 7:30 am to 7 pm for walk-in patients.
The new location will provide additional services such as on-site imaging and lab draw, making it easier for patients to receive comprehensive care without having to leave the facility. This expansion is part of MU Health Care’s ongoing efforts to improve accessibility and quality of care for patients in mid-Missouri.
