In Hershey, Pennsylvania, students from technical schools across the state, including Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT), recently participated in the 2024 SkillsUSA State Competitions. MBIT had a total of 41 competitors at the event, who collectively earned a total of 16 medals. The breakdown of these medals included 10 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze medals.
The gold medal winners from MBIT were comprised of Addisyn Adams, Brianna Grumm, Brielle Zinn, Evgeny Ukraintsev, Allison Morey, Robert Miernicki, Vuluan Truong, Charleigh Buckner, Cole Kleindienst, and Greg Milano. The silver medal winners were Brian Daly, William Tantum, Barry Cleaver, and Joseph Cronin. The bronze medalists were Luke Ryan and Emma Hancock.
Eight of the gold medal winners from MBIT have been given the opportunity to advance to the National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta Georgia scheduled for June. This is an outstanding achievement for these students and a testament to the high-quality technical education provided at MBIT.
