The grand opening of The Forever Smoke Shop, located in Miramar, was set for Saturday. But just before the big day, the business was vandalized. Surveillance footage showed a man breaking into the shop and smashing the front windows and door with hammers. After causing damage, he took a photo of his work before moving to the back of the shop to do more. He returned 20 minutes later to destroy the surveillance cameras.
Anthony Pascariella, owner of Major Ink Studios nearby, expressed shock at the situation and support for the affected business owner. When he arrived in the morning to discover the extent of the vandalism, The Forever Smoke Shop’s owner declined to speak on camera due to fear and uncertainty about who might have been responsible.
Miramar police and Broward Crime Stoppers are now seeking any information that may lead to identifying and apprehending the suspect. They are asking anyone with potential leads to come forward and help bring justice to those impacted by this incident.
