In recent news, Mintz Levin has acquired Siegmund “Sige” Gutman, a former chair of Proskauer Rose’s life science patent practice. This move is part of a larger expansion for Mintz Levin in the life sciences sector in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York.
With Gutman joining the firm as chair of life sciences litigation and co-chair of the patent litigation group, Mintz Levin is excited to further establish itself as a leader in life sciences law across multiple locations in the United States. Along with Gutman and eight other attorneys who also joined Mintz Levin from Proskauer Rose, this addition marks a two-partner, 10-attorney move aimed at enhancing the firm’s capabilities in this field.
