The scientific activities scheduled for today include using the ChemCam and Mastcam to observe and analyze the local bedrock. Additionally, the Mastcam will be used to create a mosaic to document the sedimentary structures in the area. There will also be observations to assess atmospheric opacity.
Following the drive, the team will conduct post-drive imaging to prepare for future targeting and potential contact science in the weekend plan. The team remains focused on gathering as much data as possible to further explore the Martian terrain.
