The animated sequel series to Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, has been officially announced by Netflix. While the voice cast for the original series included Jenna Ortega as Brooklynn, she will not be returning for Chaos Theory. The new series picks up where the previous one left off, with Brooklynn being killed in a dinosaur attack and putting the other members of the Nublar Six in danger.
The teaser trailer and first-look images were unveiled during Netflix Geeked Week. Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is set to premiere in 2024.
In the original series, Darius Bowman visited Camp Cretaceous only for dinosaurs to escape and wreak havoc as seen in previous Jurassic movies. Now, Chaos Theory explores a new era of chaos after the park has closed and the kingdom has fallen.
Developed by DreamWorks Animation Television and Amblin Entertainment, Chaos Theory is executive produced by Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley who also serve as showrunners. Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, and Frank Marshall are also on board as executive producers. DreamWorks Animation handles the animation while Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment produce the series.
