On Saturday, April 27, the University of Jamestown softball team faced off against Morningside University at the Mustangs’ Jensen Softball Complex. The Jimmies got an early lead, with Abby Blair scoring the first run by singling home Trinity Gregg in the first inning. They added another run in the second to take a commanding 2-0 advantage over Morningside.
The Mustangs fought back with a run in the third to make it 2-1. However, the Jimmies secured victory with a run-scoring single by Gracie Fisher in the fifth, ending the game with a score of 3-1.
