Israel confirms death of Argentine abducted by Hamas

On Tuesday, Israel announced that one of the Argentines held hostage by Hamas, Lior Rudaeff, has been confirmed dead. The Israeli Embassy verified this news and revealed that Rudaeff was a married man with four children. His death leaves eight other Argentines still in the custody of the terrorist organization.

Rudaeff was an ambulance driver and a volunteer doctor who went out to assist in the defense of the kibbutz on the day of the attack by Hamas against Israel. His family had to seek shelter for 48 hours during the peak of the violence and were eventually rescued. Rudaeff managed to send a message to his family, informing them of his injury and expressing his love for his wife and children, but nothing more was heard from him after that day.

Rudaeff was born in Buenos Aires but relocated to Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak with his family at the age of 8. He was known for his love of cycling and was a fan of the popular Israeli musician Shlomo Artzi. The tragedy of his death has left behind a grieving wife, four children, and grandchildren. The news of his murder was met with sorrow and condolences from many.
