Humanitarian zones are expanding in the southern part of Gaza as the Israeli army issues an evacuation order for certain neighborhoods in Rafah. According to a report by The Times of Israel, the IDF has instructed Palestinians to temporarily evacuate from designated areas to ensure their safety during a planned offensive in the region.
The evacuation order applies to specific eastern neighborhoods of Rafah and not the entire city. The IDF has published a map outlining the areas included in the evacuation order. Spokesperson Avichay Adraee urged residents in Al-Salam, Al-Jeneina, Tabet Ziraa, and Al-Byouk neighborhoods to evacuate immediately to the expanded humanitarian area of Al-Mawasi.
The humanitarian zone includes field hospitals and tent cities for displaced individuals. The IDF emphasizes that this is a “gradual progression” based on the current situation and that residents should follow instructions for their safety during military operations.
Palestinians living in these areas are urged to evacuate as soon as possible to ensure their well-being during this time of conflict.
