Tractor Supply Co. at 72 Newton St. in Greenfield is hosting two exciting events on Saturday, April 20. The first event is a backyard poultry event that will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., aimed at providing customers with the knowledge and tools needed to care for an at-home flock. Robert Ryczek, the manager of the Greenfield Tractor Supply store, highlighted the growing popularity of raising backyard poultry and the convenience of having fresh eggs readily available. The event will feature expert partners who will provide guidance and Tractor Supply will have starter kits, feeders, bedding, and more available to assist with raising backyard poultry.
In addition to the poultry event, there will be a Plant-a-Seed event at Tractor Supply Co. from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., designed for young gardeners to learn the basics through a hands-on activity. Children can visit the store to plant a perennial butterfly garden while supplies last, with a team member guiding them through the process and explaining how to care for their garden as it grows. Participants can take their seeds home to monitor their growth and see how they attract butterflies
