Last week, several teams made significant strides in their respective sports. The Demarest softball team went 3-1, including a notable win over Hawthorne, while Fair Lawn softball upset the third-seeded team in the Bergen County Tournament. Leonia girls track & field secured their first league title since 1991, and Mahwah girls lacrosse pulled off impressive wins, including an upset over Ramapo.
Other standout teams from last week include Pascack Hills baseball with a 5-0 record, St. Mary baseball dominating their opponents by outscoring them 20-1, West Milford boys track & field winning an important league title, and Westwood boys lacrosse achieving success as well.
