Four Carnage Magnet Middle School students from Raleigh to compete in international Vex Robotics World Championship in Texas.

Four middle school students from Raleigh, North Carolina, arrived in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday afternoon to take part in the world’s largest robotics competition. The 8th graders from Carnage Magnet Middle School secured their spot in the competition after winning the state robotics championship in February.

Vedhanth, Dhruva, Lashwin, and Sathvik will be representing their school and competing against young engineers from 50 different countries at the Vex Robotics World Championship at the Dallas Convention Center. The team of boys has named themselves ‘A Few Bolt Men’ and are eager to showcase their skills and knowledge in the field of robotics.

The competition spans over several days and includes challenges such as a teamwork challenge, a robot skills challenge, and a STEM research project. The team will be tested on their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork as they strive to come out on top. Good luck to ‘A Few Bolt Men’ as they compete on the world stage at the Vex Robotics World Championship!
