Daylen Baldwin, a wide receiver who had been with the Minnesota Vikings since November, has been waived by the team. This move was made to create space on the 90-man roster for new undrafted rookies who will be signing with the team for the upcoming rookie minicamp. Baldwin had originally entered the NFL with the Cleveland Browns in 2022 after going undrafted.
During his time with the Browns, Baldwin spent most of his rookie year on the practice squad before being elevated for one game where he caught two passes for 25 yards. Now that he has left the Vikings, Baldwin will be looking for a new opportunity in the NFL to continue his professional career. The league is always competitive, and Baldwin will need to prove himself once again to earn a spot on another team.
