Discover the Cast Joining Tom Felton in the World Premiere of A Child of Science at Bristol Old Vic

A Child of Science, a world premiere play by Gareth Farr, will be staged at Bristol Old Vic. Tom Felton, known for his role in the Harry Potter films, will lead the cast as Robert Edwards, one of the pioneering doctors behind IVF. The show will run from June 5th to July 6th, with an opening night on June 11th.

The play explores the creation of IVF and its impact on fertility treatment. Joining Felton in the cast are Jamie Glover, Meg Bellamy, Adelle Leonce, Sonoya Mizuno, and Sheena Steptoe. Other cast members include Saikat Ahamed, Gruffudd Glyn, Bobby Hirston, Amy Loughton, Bebe Sanders, and Everal A Walsh.

Directed by Matthew Dunster, who has a personal connection to the subject matter as he had a child through IVF himself. The show’s scenic design is by Anna Fleischle and its costume design is by Angelica Rush. Tickets can be purchased at BristolOldVic.org.uk.
