Since the late 90s, they have been crafting hundreds of delicious Mexican-style popsicles, known as paletas, at their original spot off Franklin Avenue. This family-owned business has become a daily ritual for the Garcias, who spend every week creating these mouthwatering treats.
Initially, the Garcias focused on selling their popsicles to stores in Dallas and bulk buyers. However, they eventually expanded their offerings to include soft serve ice cream and other treats at their Waco locations. With the success of their existing locations, the Garcias saw an opportunity to venture into Temple, where they see a growing community and potential for their business.
Helados La Azteca in Temple will offer more than just their signature popsicles and fruit cups. The new location will also feature a variety of candies and piñatas, broadening their product offerings even further. The Garcias are excited to share their Mexican tradition with more people across Central Texas.
