A new date of the Diamond League is happening this Saturday in Doha, Qatar. The competition will bring together some of the best athletes in the world as they continue their quest to achieve qualification for the Paris Olympic Games. Several new events are set to debut at this League, including women’s pole vault, high jump and men’s javelin and 800m. Additionally, men will also be making their debut in 200m, 400m, 1500m, 400m hurdles and 3000m steeplechase.
The event will feature some of our continent’s top athletes such as Steven Gardiner from Bahamas and Alison Dos Santos. Our ambassador from Team Panam Sports, Anderson Peters, a double world champion and Pan American champion will also be showcasing his skills in javelin throw. This top event in world athletics is not to be missed out on as it begins its live broadcast on the Panam Sports Channel on May 10th at noon (Eastern Time).
