Emma Corrin, a young British actress who has won multiple awards, including Critics Choice and Golden Globe awards, SAG and Emmy Award nominations, is the guest on this week’s episode of The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast. The episode was recorded in front of a group of film students at Chapman University. In it, Corrin spoke about her career-defining role as Princess Diana in season four of Netflix’s The Crown in 2020, where she portrayed Diana from the age of 16 to 28.
In addition to her work on The Crown, Corrin has also recently starred in A Murder at the End of the World, an FX limited series created by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij. In this series, she plays Darby Hart, an amateur detective who investigates cold-case murders with her then-boyfriend Bill in the first period. In the second period, Darby is invited to a billionaire’s retreat where Bill is found dead. This presents her with a personal mystery to solve.
Corrin has also appeared in several films recently, including My Policeman and Lady Chatterley’s Lover. She will soon be seen in Deadpool & Wolverine and Nosferatu.
