UNDP leads the way with innovative training programs for a skilled workforce and sustainable green economy.

The Libyan Korean Centre and local stakeholders have partnered with the UNDP Libya to develop five training programs aimed at building a skilled workforce to support a sustainable, greener economy in Libya. These training programs focus on energy assessment, innovative building, recycling skills, municipal waste management, environmental health and safety, and circular economy entrepreneurship. The initiative was announced on 15 April as part of UNDP’s Local Peacebuilding and Resilience efforts to support job creation for youth and is being implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation with support from the Republic of Korea.
