As the final chapter of the spring sports season draws to a close, we are proud to announce our Patriot Auto Group Athlete of the Week, powered by Tri County Tech. This week, we are honoring Brenden Asher, an exceptional pitcher from Bartlesville High School.
Throughout his three-year tenure with the Bruins, Asher has been a standout player on both the varsity District team and the Doenges Ford Indian team. His talent and consistency have earned him numerous accolades and recognition in 6A baseball. In his final regular season start as a Bruin, Asher threw seven innings of one-run baseball, leaving behind a lasting legacy at Bartlesville High School.
Asher’s dedication to his craft has not gone unnoticed. He has never had an ERA above 3.2 during his time as a District starter, facing some of the toughest competition in 6A baseball. His commitment to excellence has paved the way for him to continue his academic and athletic journey at Oral Roberts University next year.
In addition to his impressive individual achievements, Asher has also provided leadership for his fellow seniors and younger teammates throughout their time together at Bartlesville High School. Despite some ups and downs in the 2024 season, he remained optimistic about the team’s future prospects. When the official bracket is released, BHS is set to face off against the Redhawks in their first-round game at Union.
