The 2024 World Men’s Curling Championship is set to take place at the ice arena in the KSS Sports Complex in Schaffhausen, Switzerland from 30 March to 7 April 2024. The tournament will be a thrilling event, with many teams vying for the top prize.
One of the teams that will be competing is Scotland, led by skip Bruce Mouat. As the reigning champions, they will have their sights set on retaining their title. However, they will face tough competition from countries like Sweden, led by Niklas Edin, Team Canada with Brad Gushue as the skip, and Italy led by Joel Retornaz.
The tournament will begin with a round-robin event where all 13 teams will play against each other once. The top six teams after all games are played will progress to the next stage of the competition, with the top two teams automatically advancing to the semi-finals. The remaining four teams will battle it out in a play-off to secure the last two spots.
