Barcelona’s elimination from the Champions League has left them out of next year’s expanded Club World Cup, which will take place in the United States from June 15 to July 13. The tournament, set to feature 32 teams in a new format that occurs every four years, has opened up a spot for Atletico Madrid to take their place.
