Panhandle Breast Health staff and volunteers will be attending several community health fairs and events to share information, resources, and raise awareness about breast health and early detection. They will be participating in various events such as the School Vaccine and Resource Fair on May 2 at Fannin Middle School, the Energy Workers Lunch n’ Learn Resource Fair on May 3 at the Amarillo Civic Center, the Amarillo Sod Poodles vs Midland Rockhounds pre-game event on May 4 at Hodgetown Stadium, and the Lisa Cherry Health Fair on May 18 at the Charles E. Warford Activity Center.
At these events, Panhandle Breast Health will provide valuable health information, accept applications for no-cost mammograms, and give away PBH goodies. They have also been selected to be in the Charity Spotlight at the Sod Poodles’ game where they will have a special presence and offer additional resources to attendees.
Panhandle Breast Health is committed to reaching out to the community and making a difference in people’s lives by providing resources that can help detect breast cancer early. By participating in these events, they are able to connect with individuals, provide valuable information, and make a difference in their lives.
