Aspen High School Ranks in Top 3% Nationally According to U.S. News and World Report

Aspen High School has been recognized for its exceptional academic performance, ranking in the top 3% of public high schools in the United States according to the U.S. News and World Report 2024 best high school rankings. The school was ranked 534 out of 18,000 schools, with special recognition for its International Baccalaureate program.

The school’s commitment to providing rigorous academic opportunities for its students is reflected in its IB Diploma Programme coursework, which all juniors and seniors are enrolled in. Principal Sarah Strassburger expressed pride in the school’s progress, emphasizing the importance of meeting the individual needs of every student.

Aspen High School stood out for its high IB exam participation rate of 98% and 85% of students passing at least one IB exam. This contributed to the school’s overall score of 96.9 out of 100. Schools are evaluated based on their performance on state-required tests, graduation rates, and college preparation.

With a graduation rate of 97%, Aspen High School further solidified its place among the top high schools in the country. The school credits its success to the dedicated community of students, teachers, and families who support its exceptional learning environment.
