Aramex has temporarily suspended its operations in the United Arab Emirates due to the ongoing extreme weather conditions in the country. Alaa Al Saudi, Chief Operating Officer – Express, stated that the company made this decision to prioritize the safety of its employees and customers during the bad weather.
The company plans to resume operations in available areas where road conditions permit on Thursday and minimize disruptions as much as possible. Al-Saudi mentioned that they are closely monitoring the situation and working with local authorities to assess road conditions for safe operation.
Aramex is committed to resuming full capacity as soon as possible, while prioritizing the safety and well-being of its employees and customers. The team will work over the coming weekend to clear any backlog and restore services to normal levels.
