The initial excitement surrounding Apple’s mixed reality device, the Vision Pro, has waned as interest in the product declines according to a report by Mark Gurman. Despite its high price starting at $3,500 in the US and limited availability, demand for demonstrations of the device has also dropped since its launch.
Fewer users are making appointments to test the viewers and sales have decreased significantly. In fact, some Apple Stores are barely selling a few Vision Pros in a week compared to two a day previously. This raises questions about the future of the product and its potential in the market.
One possible reason for this decline could be that owners of the device may no longer find it as attractive due to lack of additional applications and potential inconvenience of using it in public places. Additionally, its high price may have contributed to its limited availability and smaller target audience. As such, Apple may need to reconsider their marketing strategies and product offerings in order to revitalize interest in the device.
