Apple unveiled new accessories for its latest iPads at a “Let Loose” event on Tuesday. The $129 Pencil Pro and a new Magic Keyboard starting at $299 are now available for preorder and will be launching next week.
The Pencil Pro is described as a “game changer” for users to express creativity, with features like a new sensor on the barrel that users can squeeze to bring up a tool palette with line weights and colors. The Pencil Pro pairs, charges, and is stored on the side of the iPad Pro using a magnet, ensuring it is always conveniently located.
In addition to the Pencil Pro, Apple also introduced the new Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro at the event. This redesigned keyboard is thinner and lighter than its predecessor and features a bigger trackpad, function row, and comes in black and white color options. The Magic Keyboard is available for the 11-inch Pro for $299 and the 13-inch Pro for $349, providing a familiar MacBook-like experience for users.
Overall, Apple’s new accessories for the latest iPad lineup aim to make the devices more portable and versatile than ever before. Preorders for the Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard began on Tuesday
