Purdue University Northwest’s nursing and business programs have been recognized in the U.S. News and World Report’s 2024 Best Graduate Program rankings. The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner, offered by the College of Nursing, was ranked No. 87 nationally, an improvement from its previous ranking of No. 100. This program prepares advanced nurses to promote health, prevent disease, and provide counseling and education to patients in primary care settings as FNPs.
In addition to the MSN program, PNW’s online MSN program was also recognized in the Best Online Programs rankings. This convenient and flexible option allows nurses to advance their careers while continuing to work in the field.
On the business side, PNW’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, offered by the College of Business, was nationally ranked in the Best Part-time MBA Programs category. The MBA program at PNW provides students with a rigorous curriculum and flexible scheduling, including evening classes, to help them increase their earning potential and develop leadership skills through an advanced degree.
