Junior Daneev Imbert is identified across campus for her active leadership roles in far more than a half dozen organizations, clubs and departments. Regardless of her busy calendar, Imbert’s principal concentrate is scheduling time to bring joy to other people.

Imbert is a founding member and president of the Migrant Rights Coalition, a cultural organization on campus that supports the dignity and rights of migrants, immigrants, refugees and initially-generation Americans by way of advocacy, outreach and inclusivity.
“Knowing that I am developing a distinction in the CUA neighborhood and amplifying voices that go unnoticed or unheard is what inspires me to preserve going,” pointed out Imbert. “Even as a student I am developing a distinction.”
As a initially-year student, Imbert participated in Take Flight, a technique from the Center for Cultural Engagement that accompanies initially-generation students as they transition to University life. Now an upperclassmen, she gives back by mentoring initially-year students.
Imbert is also involved in leadership roles with the Black Student Alliance, Campus Ministry’s service and justice workplace, and Orientation and she performs with the Workplace of Campus Activities and the Student Philanthropy Council.
Imbert pointed out she receives exceptional help in her service function from the Center for Cultural Engagement. She also credits her classes at the Busch College of Firm for her leadership formation.
“There’s a lot of points I’ve found about myself although taking these classes studying how to be a wonderful leader and how to help other people,” pointed out Imbert.
In summer time time 2022, Imbert went on a Campus Ministry Service and Justice Immersion Trip to Los Angeles that ministered to guys and females in rehabilitation, inspiring her to function more quickly following graduation in gang rehabilitation and immigration.
Imbert hopes to earn a master’s degree in social function and function with nonprofits. She also dreams of opening her private enterprise, such as a dance studio or recreation center for young young children in low income communities.
