The 17th National Technical Innovation Award was held on April 23, with a goal of recognizing outstanding research projects that have been applied in production and have brought high economic efficiency. The contest aimed to promote the creative labor movement, encourage research and creative solutions, and contribute to economic development. Sixteen awards were given out, including six first prizes, twelve second prizes, twenty-four third prizes, and forty-two consolation prizes.
The winning projects covered a wide range of innovative solutions in fields such as Education and Training, Agriculture, Forestry, Fishery, and Environment, Mechanical Automation, Construction, Traffic Information Technology Electronics Telecommunications Medicine Materials Chemicals Energy. Among the 587 participating applications were these exceptional projects that showcase Vietnam’s commitment to advancing science and technology.
From optimizing production processes to improving healthcare techniques and developing smart home technologies, the winning projects demonstrate the country’s dedication to innovation. The contest was organized by the Vifotec Foundation Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations Ministry of Science and Technology Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee has been held every two years since 1989 with nearly 8000 solutions entered and close to 1000 projects being awarded over the years.
