West Seattle Crime Watch: Two Business Burglaries, Safe Found; Interrupted Car Prowler

In the West Seattle area, there were four crime reports today. The first two incidents involved business burglaries.

At the Morgan Junction Domino’s, a crash-and-grab burglary occurred. Although the initial report stated that it was a crash, the thief made off with the safe from the restaurant without causing significant damage to the business.

A Pizza Mart in West Seattle also suffered a burglary, but the time of the incident was not specified. The safe taken from A Pizza Mart could be connected to the one found dumped south of The Junction this afternoon.

A reader sent in a photo and report of a safe found in an alley between California and 42nd, south of Edmunds. It is unclear if it is connected to any of the reported burglaries in West Seattle today.

Finally, an attempted car prowl was interrupted in North Admiral/Schmitz Park area just before 5 am. The suspect was seen checking car handles and attempting to break into cars when they were scared off by neighbors before any theft occurred.
