Webster Thomas Golfer Owen Tehan Named Section V’s Boys Sports Athlete of the Week for Golf: Voting Continues Until Tuesday Night

Owen Tehan has been named the Advantage Federal Credit Union’s Boys Sports Athlete of the Week, receiving over 4,000 votes. He is a golfer from Webster Thomas who achieved the title of medalist twice in the past week. Nick Johnson from Webster Schroeder shared the honor with him on Tuesday and won outright on Thursday at meets held at the Webster Golf Club.

During the winter season, Section V athletes are recognized as the best performers of their respective sports through polls launched on Mondays on democratandchronicle.com. These polls allow individuals to vote for their favorite athlete and help determine who will be honored as the best athlete for that week.

Voting for the Athlete of the Week continues until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, giving people ample time to cast their votes. The winners of this prestigious title are first announced on Instagram at instagram.com/dandcsports, which can be found in The Democrat and Chronicle sports section. Make sure to show your support for your favorite athletes by participating in this voting process.
