Verona will soon reap significant profits from the sale of Jackson Tchatchoua to Everton for around €8m. The Cameroon international joined Verona on loan from Royal Charleroi Sporting Club last summer, with an option to buy that was eventually exercised for €3m. Now, thanks to Director of Sport Sean Sogliano’s successful financial moves in recent months, Verona could nearly triple that amount with the sale to Everton.
Tchatchoua is a versatile player who primarily plays as a right-back but can also fill in other positions. He has earned two senior caps for Cameroon and featured in 27 matches for Verona last season in Serie A and the Coppa Italia. During his time with the club, he provided two assists, showcasing his skill and potential on the field. With this potential sale to Everton, Verona seems to have maximized their acquisition of Tchatchoua, making a significant profit in the process.
