The USA men’s basketball team is currently finalizing its 2024 Paris Olympics roster. Led by managing director Grant Hill, the squad features some of the greatest players in the game, including LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Joel Embiid.
Hill has left one roster spot open for a player to be added after a July training camp in Las Vegas. The 11-man roster includes Anthony Davis, Devin Booker, Anthony Edwards, Jayson Tatum, Jrue Holiday, Bam Adebayo, and Tyrese Haliburton.
Coach Steve Kerr will be coaching Curry and Durant, who has won three men’s basketball Olympic gold medals, tying him with Carmelo Anthony. LeBron James is playing in his fourth Olympics and has previously won a bronze medal in 2004 and gold medals in 2008 and 2012.
Haliburton and Edwards are the only players from the 2023 FIBA World Cup team that have been selected for the Olympics. This mix of experience and upcoming talent showcases the strength of the USA men’s basketball team as they prepare to compete on the world stage.
