Tom Pidcock wins elite men’s race for fourth consecutive victory at UCI MTB World Cup in Nove Město

In the UCI World Cup in Nové Město na Moravě, Ineos Grenadiers’ Tom Pidcock emerged victorious. He did this by riding solo after making an attack on the fourth lap and pulling ahead of Nino Shurter (Scott–Sram) in second and Marcel Guerrini (BIXS Performance Race Team) in third. Pidcock, who is both the reigning World and Olympic champion, has a perfect record at this race, having won it every year for the past four years.

In the early stages of the race, Pidcock faced stiff competition from Shurter and Victor Koretzky (Specialized Factory Racing), who broke away on the second lap and established a significant gap. However, by the third lap, Pidcock made a strong move on the main climb of the circuit known as the Whoopenberg to regain his position at the front of the pack.
