Brevard Zoo guests can beat the heat and learn something interesting this summer with the new Science Sundays series. The program is free with zoo admission and will be held on select Sundays in July and August from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the air-conditioned Nyami Nyami River Lodge. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities led by knowledgeable experts, promoting a love of science among all ages.
Each Sunday will feature a different theme and set of activities, including animal behavior demonstrations, interactive exhibits on conservation, and environmental science. Interactive chats will also be held at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., providing guests with more opportunities to learn and ask questions.
