The new plan, known as the Behavioral Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Tailored Plan or Trillium Tailored Plan, aims to provide people with effective management of their behavioral and physical health services.
The Trillium Tailored Plan is specifically tailored for those who are uninsured, on Medicaid, dealing with serious mental illness, severe substance use disorders, intellectual/developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, NC Innovations Waiver members, and those on the waitlist. This plan will be available in all 46 counties served by Trillium Health Resources.
The benefits of the Trillium Tailored Plan include new benefits for physical and pharmacy services, non-emergency medical transportation, a nurse line, physical health prevention programs, and Trillium Advantage – a value-added service that provides additional benefits to eligible members.
