Transforming Leadership through the Humanities: Virginia Tech’s Inaugural Class of 2024 Institute for Leadership in Technology Graduates

On April 25th, the Virginia Tech Center for Humanities marked the achievement of its inaugural class of 2024 Institute for Leadership in Technology fellows. The cohort had completed a rigorous seven-month training program and earned an Executive Leadership Certificate from Virginia Tech as a result.

As these newly empowered fellows move forward from the Virginia Tech Institute for Leadership in Technology, they are encouraged to embrace and promote the values of the humanities. By reflecting on the question of what constitutes a good life, both in their personal and professional spheres, they have the opportunity to not only experience a personal revelation but also contribute to a cultural revolution that our society greatly needs. This blend of leadership and goodness is essential for creating positive change in the world.

The fellows are congratulated once again and reminded that they will always have a home at Virginia Tech. This community of like-minded individuals will continue to support and uplift them as they strive to make a difference in the world through their work in technology and leadership, rooted in the principles of the humanities.
