Tragic Death of 50-Year-Old Israeli Woman in Rio de Janeiro: Mystery Surrounds Alleged Robbery and Fatal Fall

On May 7th, Alma Buadana, a 50-year-old Israeli woman, tragically lost her life in Rio de Janeiro. She had been in Brazil for over three months before her untimely death. According to reports, Alma and her companion were walking down the street when they were approached by a motorcyclist or someone in a red car. This led them to believe that they were being robbed and in an attempt to escape, Alma fell from a 15-meter height near the rise to Corcovado.

However, inconsistencies in the companion’s testimonies have led authorities to suspect his involvement in Alma’s death. Homicide detectives are currently investigating all leads as they try to piece together what happened on that fateful night. It is believed that Alma had only recently met her companion at a hostel in Copacabana before the tragic event occurred on Almirante Alexandrino Boulevard, near Mount Corcovado.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has expressed their deepest condolences and is assisting with transporting Alma’s body back to Israel for burial. The investigation into her death continues as authorities work tirelessly to uncover all of the details leading up to this tragic accident.
