Students from Thomas College received awards at a business conference.

A team of five Thomas College students recently competed in the Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) International Business Conference. The students, including Dan Brewer, Tanner Herrick, Jade Crowell, Preston Moody, and Addison Landon, were able to achieve top rankings in various categories at the conference held in Orlando, Florida.

One of the highlights of the competition was when Preston Moody advanced to the finals of the Knowledge Bowl. Landon excelled and finished in second place in this competition. He was also recognized as the top individual student performer at the conference.

The Thomas College team faced tough challenges during the competition, with a record number of colleges submitting student teams. Despite this, they were able to place second overall and third in the case study presentation. Dr. Rick Saucier and Dr. Jono Anzalone coached the students throughout their journey to success.

According to Dr. Saucier, representatives from SAM praised the exceptional performance of Thomas College students at the conference. The college is gaining recognition for its excellence in competitions like these, and it has been successful seven years running in SAM competitions. Stay tuned for more upcoming area events!
