However, other significant issues like tuberculosis and nutrition are often overlooked despite their importance. Even diseases like rabies, river blindness, and leprosy, categorized as “neglected tropical diseases,” have programs dedicated to them within the World Health Organization. However, there is a challenge that affects more than 1 billion people worldwide yet receives little attention – the “neglected enormous disease.” This disease has the potential to be efficiently addressed and could significantly impact a large portion of the global population.
