The Texas Rangers have reached an agreement with Bally Sports Southwest to broadcast both home and away games. As part of the deal, Bally Sports Southwest will air a total of 153 regular season games as well as four spring training games, with the first spring training game scheduled to air on March 14. The regular season coverage is set to begin on March 30 with a game between the Rangers and the Chicago Cubs at Globe Life Field.
In recent news, Diamond Sports, the parent company of Bally Sports, had filed for bankruptcy protection. However, last month it was announced that the company would be partnering with Amazon as part of a restructuring agreement. This agreement was approved by a Houston judge last Friday.
