TechNode: Baidu and Qualcomm collaborate to advance prolonged actuality expertise in China

On September 15, Qualcomm China and Baidu introduced their partnership to collectively develop prolonged actuality (XR) expertise and its software in varied industries, together with tourism and schooling. This collaboration is supported by a non-binding Strategic Cooperation MoU. As a way to improve the metaverse consumer expertise, Baidu plans to combine Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Areas™ XR developer platform and cutting-edge XR applied sciences into its XiRang platform. Launched in 2021, XiRang platform was created by Baidu to assist the event of the metaverse.
