Get ready to dive into the world of one of history’s most iconic creatures at the IMAG History & Science Center. The center is excited to announce the world premiere of T. Rex, a giant-screen film that transports you back into the world of the Tyrannosaurus Rex. This immersive and educational documentary is included in museum admission and is one of three 3-D giant-screen films shown twice daily at the IMAG’s Sunrise Rotary Theater.
The film was created in collaboration with a group of natural history institutions and top tyrannosaur scientists, using new discoveries in tyrannosaur paleontology, state-of-the-art computer-generated imagery, and visual effects. It delves into the relationship between speculation and evidence, demonstrating how the scientific process continually shapes and enhances our knowledge of this legendary dinosaur. The film also highlights key discoveries and renowned archaeological specimens from the past century.
The IMAG History & Science Center operates from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, noon to 5 p.m., on Sundays, and closed on Tuesdays.
