Hollidaysburg native Paul Frederic Anderson, 44, passed away at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness surrounded by his family. Born in Mansfield, Ohio, as the middle son of Terry and Marci Anderson, Paul grew up in Hollidaysburg and was an avid sports fan with a love for basketball.
Paul graduated from Hollidaysburg Area High School in 1998 and went on to earn a degree in economics from Duke University in 2002. He had homes in Austin, Texas, Pittsburgh, and parts of Maryland.
Paul is survived by his parents and brothers and their respective families. His older brother David and Emily Anderson have two children, Sydney, 18, and Jack, 14. Younger brother Michael and Jana Anderson have three children: Misha, 14; Luke, 13; and Maggie, 10. All of them cherished their time spent with their beloved uncle Paul.
In honor of Paul’s memory, donations are requested to be made to your favorite charity. There will be no visitation or service held at this time. Arrangements are being handled by Plank Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home located at 421 Montgomery Street in Hollidaysburg.
