Snow Bike World Championships: Morgane Such and Pierre Thevenard Dominate the First Day of Competition

2024 Snow Bike World Championships Super G Results

At the Snow Bike World Championships in Châtel, France dominated the first of two events with two rainbow jerseys. Morgane Such and Pierre Thevenard took gold medals in the Super G event, while Lisa Baumann put up a strong effort for third place.

In the elite women’s racing, Morgane Such and Veronika Widmann traded positions until the final split to the line. Morgane found a second against the Italian World Cup racer and took victory. Baumann held the fastest split time in the final sector by 0.83 seconds, even as she finished third overall.

Meanwhile, Henry Kerr led Pierre Thevenard by just 0.18 seconds into the final part of the course in the elite men’s racing. However, Kerr couldn’t hold his winning pace through the final sector as he went third fastest here and handed a lead of 0.97 seconds to Thevenard, who was fastest in the sprint to the line.
