Delicious Mocktail Recipes for Valentine’s Day from Tulsa Health Department

The Tulsa Health Department’s substance abuse prevention program and the StopDUI Task Force are urging residents to drink responsibly and safely this Valentine’s Day, or opt for a fun mocktail instead. To help with that, the two organizations collaborated to present a Facebook Live mocktail tutorial on Friday, February 9th. Kandice Lawson of THD Prevention Specialist and Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Eric Kirby will be sharing delicious recipes for festive drinks to prepare for the holiday.

For those looking to make a love-inspired drink, the “Circus of Love” is a great option. To make it, you will need: 1 large carbonated beverage, 1 jar of marshmallow fluff, 4 glasses, 1 container of cotton candy, and 1 container of sprinkles. Roll the rim of each glass in marshmallow fluff before dipping it in sprinkles. Pour the carbonated beverage into each glass and drop in several handfuls of cotton candy before stirring well.

If you’re in the mood for something more tangy, try the “Stop in the Name of Love”. You will need: 2 ounces sparkling hibiscus red grape juice, 2 ounces lemon-lime soda, 2 ounces orange juice, an orange wheel, and several Valentine’s Candy Hearts. Fill a glass with crushed ice before adding the sparkling hibiscus red grape juice, lemon-lime soda and orange juice. Stir or shake well before straining into a chilled glass full of crushed ice. Add several Valentine’s Candy Hearts and garnish with an orange wheel before serving.

If you prefer something non-alcoholic but still festive try “Kandi-Coated Punch”. For this drink you will need:
